Quartier means neighbourhood in French and the Quartier varietals are a celebration of diverse terroirs on the Mornington Peninsula. The fruit for this wine is sourced from a vineyard in Tuerong.
- VIC - Mornington Peninsula
Light straw-green; quite obviously, a lot of winemaking has gone into this; oak and solids juice just for starters; juicy lemon, pear, pear drop and spice all jostle for space. Rating 93 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2014
Winery Tasting Notes
Warm straw colour.
The nose is youthful and pretty with suggestions of dried apple, caramelised citrus, sweet almond blossom, fresh hay and a discreet complex sulphide element
providing savoury context.
In the mouth the wine moves with linearity and a nashi fruit juiciness, tempered with a softly talcy phenolic texture to length.
