Expert Reviews

Serious sort of bouquet here with earth, wet slate, briar and then the presence of red cherry and brambly berry notes chimes in. Concentration is apparent in taste; there’s a richness to fruit but a great freshness, trim of chalky tannins, good length and a building savoury pucker to close. Composed, svelte, energetic and delicious, while being serious. Rating 94 - Drink by 2029, Mike Bennie, winefront.com.au (OCT/2014).

Medium to deep ruby-purple colored, the 2013 Pinot Noir has an expressive nose of ripe black and red cherries, mulberries and currants with nuances of cedar, underbrush, cloves and rose petals. Medium bodied with firm, grainy tannins and just enough acid framing the muscular fruit, it finishes long and earthy. Rating 92+ - Drink by 2018, Lisa Perrotti-Brown, erobetparker.com (DEC/2014).
