Expert Reviews

The style has really evolved handsomely for Quartz Reef, marrying the right amount of weight and richness with elegant structure and complex, whole-bunch-derived fragrance and shape. This has plenty of ripe plum and cherry, bright purple musky fragrance, swirling spice and plenty of sweet, fragrant allure. The palate’s phenomenal, with really concentrated and tightly wound fruits making a sturdy, structured and concentrated pinot that has a happy life ahead.

Rating 96 - Nick Stock: Good Wine Guide 2012

Impressively perfumed wine with strong cherry and floral characters plus a hint of spice. Elegant wine with subtle power evidenced by a lengthy finish. Impressive purity and drive.

Rating 90 - Bob Campbell MW, December 2011
