The grapes for this wine come entirely from Pra’s vineyards in the Soave Classico zone but the fact that
the bottle has screw cap closure means that the word ‘Classico’ may not appear. ‘Otto’ is Italian for
eight (8), a lucky number for some.

Winery Tasting Notes
The wine has a light yellow-straw colour
There is fresh hay and honey on the nose, hints of pear; good intensity and persistence.
The 'honey' disappears on the palate, giving way to ripe fruit cut by a fine line of acidity which maintains freshness and liveliness in the mouth. There is a marked salty-biscuit minerality about it reflecting the volcanic origins of the terrain. Fruit is predominantly pear and apple, just a hint of the sub-tropical, and there is an impressive balance so that there is nothing of the overripe nor of the excessively tight about the wine. The finish is clean and medium long.
