Lifted bouquet of blueberry, perfumed red rose, black plum with hints of spice and mulberry, with a palate showing loganberry, cranberries, crab apple and tangy red cherry, with hints of musk, all entwined with fine structured tannin and subtle cedary oak.

Freakishly deep in colour; I am certain as I sit here in front of the bottle that I have never tasted a tempranillo as full-bodied as this, nor one with such raw power. Quite simply needs a nappy change or two (ie fining) and 10 years before an accurate judgement can be made. Rating 89 - Drink by 2043 James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (MAR/2015)

For this our second release of this very versatile, famous Spanish varietal, we have decided to make a medium to full bodied style. The wine was matured in older French oak barriques for just over a year, ensuring distinctive varietal character, as we as retaining freshness.
