Floral perfume with hints of citrus and almond on the palate. Just add family, friends and food...
- VIC - King Valley
One of the better versions of Australian arneis on the market, no doubt.
It offers plenty of flavour. That’s a good start. It tastes of stonefruit, crisp apple and pear, with a slightly briney edge. Slightly. The good thing is that it then turns tangy and tart through the finish, which lends the wine a raciness. Richness and raciness in one. While, at the same time, remaining uncomplicated. In short, it works. Rating 92 - Drink by 2017, Campbell Mattinson, winefront.com.au (FEB/2016).
Winery Tasting Notes
The nose shows plenty of mountain fresh fragrance with fresh-cut pear, some quince, sweet white floral perfume and the merest hints of citrus and fresh almond.
The palate is crisp, dry and fresh, with pear and apple flavour sitting bright and crunchy from start to mouth-watering finish.
