In 2009, Pizzini added a small batch, single vineyard Pinot Grigio to their range. They called this style the White Fields Pinot Grigio, named after the native clover that blanketed the new pastures back in the settlers' days, producing masses of tiny white flowers each year. Unlike the easy-drinking Pizzini Pinot Grigio, the White Fields is restrained yet complexly layered and has good ageing potential.

Winery Tasting Notes
Aromas of Granny Smith apples and ripe pears, the wine slowly evolves and gives earthy, savoury and nutty notes with a honeyed leesy complexity.
Silky and textural with a finely grained tannin structure, gentle acidity and has a soft leesy edge. Lingering palate that cries out for potato gnocchi with creamy gorgonzola cheese sauce and a dusting of nutmeg. Yep, cries out for it!
