This sits in contrast to the regular (tall bottle) Pinot Grigio in that it is vastly more savoury and complex. Aromas of green almond, dried wild flowers and pears on the nose give way to a palate that has layers of texture and flavour. There's plenty of varietal pear and a little almond too; twisting savoury and gently chalky to close.

Winery Tasting Notes
The wine has a light straw colour with a green olive hue.
The nose is similar to a French Chablis, complex with light earthy, funky, nutty notes backed with lemon and limey aromas. As the wine opens up there are savoury, almond meal and flinty aromatics.
The palate is generous yet taut, it is balanced and lush. Flavours of nashi pea and freshly cut yellow pears along with lively acidity give this wine a lovely long, complex and persistent finish.
