Each year Muscat grapes are havested at high sugar levels. This wine is then transferred into barrels and casks of different volumes (generally for anything between 2 and 5 years for this Rutherglen classification). These parcels are then blended to produce youthful, fresh wines with complexity and concentrated flavours.
- VIC - Rutherglen
Attractive flamboyant muscat bouquet, with fruitcake and a hint of toffee on offer; the palate is luscious for this level and shows a fine balance between sweetness and freshness on the finish.
Rating 92 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (JAN/2010)
