Overview

In the Wairau Plain and Awatere Valley, both sub regions of Marlborough, viticulture has been developed principally on locations with moderate, low fertility and stony, sandy loam top soil overlying deep layers of free-draining shingle. Our vineyards reach into these soils generating wines of distinctive and pure flavours.

Small batch fermented in traditional open top vats. The wine was then transferred to French barrels for maturation.
