The Peninsula or 'PE' label represents the first tier in the Paringa Estate range. In recent years Paringa has renewed its focus in ensuring the Peninsula range over delivers on quality, this Shiraz is no exception.
- VIC - Mornington Peninsula
An impeccably bred wine, co-fermented with 5% viognier, matured for 11 months in used French barriques. Its red and black fruits are seasoned with pepper and spice, the light to medium-bodied palate vibrantly fresh, the tannins fine. James Halliday, Rating 91, 27th July 2014
Winery Tasting Notes
The vibrant bouquet offers spicy blackberry fruit along with the lifted floral Viognier aromatics.
The palate has ample black fruits, black pepper and fine grained tannins. A medium bodied wine with texture and power but with a fineness that relects its cool climate origin.
