Winery Tasting Notes
Pinot Gris is a close cousin of Pinot Noir and consequently is very well suited to the viticultural environment of the Mornington Peninsula. This wine underwent cool fermentation (12 deg - 15 deg) in a stainless steel tank with the goal of retaining fruit aromatics and freshness.
The resulting bouquet is fragrant with fresh cut pear, citrus, musk and rose quince.
The balanced palate displays pear flesh and candied lemon zest enhanced by a long finish. Served Chilled.
