Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre are the traditional red wine varieties of the Barossa and are perfectly complementary when blended together, producing a wine which is soft, complex and very approachable. The classic Barossa red wine blend.

"This has now been given the ‘Seven Surveys’ moniker and should be readily available on special. It’s a very soft, easy drinking red with ripe plummy fruit and plenty of tannins. I’d be thinking sirloin steak, onions, chips, and a nice salad to keep the peace."Pretty Good - Peter Forrestal, Quaff 2009
"This wine is not perhaps what you’d expect from a Lehmann red, with its Barossan roots and foreboding pedigree. It’s actually a much cooler, more toned, fresher style of wine with a lighter, garnet colour and a frisky, perky flavour. Pretty red fruits bound around unfettered and pepper and spice call order every so often
before it all becomes too hilarious. This is a clever ‘session’ red with a smooth finish so your pals will adore it."
- Tyson Stelzer & Mathew Jukes, Food & Wine 2009, (NOV/2008)
