Winery Tasting Notes

Garnet red in colour.

This wine exhibits bright cherry and red fruits accented with spicy dried herb highlights.

It has an elegant, sweet approach displaying ripe, red berry fruits, subtle spice and velvety tannins with the sweet fruit carrying the full length of the palate to the finish. Firm, yet fine tannin structure balances the fruit intensity in this wine.

Food Matching

Mushroom pasta or risotto would be an ideal match. Grilled red meats or a variety f red meat casseroles would again work admirably.

Cellaring Potential

While this wine is made to be drunk in its youth, it will continue to gain further complexity if correctly cellared for two to three years from its vintage year.
