Overview

The area where Man O'War stands was discovered in 1769 by James Cook. Since, the people there have put every effort to transform it into what it is now, a stunning vineyard in a stunning landscape, with a number of individual blocks with their own soils characteristics and microclimatesin order to grow the best vines.

Whay all that? For the result in the glass; wines as beautiful as the region they come from.

Winery Tasting Notes

Aroma

Fresh herb, nettles and gooseberry characters and contains a splash of Sémillon creating a wine that is fresh and crisp in a dry fruity style.

Palate

The Sauvignon Blanc adds the pungency to the aromas and the Sémillon adds a remarkable ‘chalky’ minerality to the wine which, over time, will develop into a wonderfully toasted muesli/tropical fruit character.
