Montevecchio Bianco is a co-fermented field blend made from vermentino, fiano and a small percentage of moscato giallo.
- VIC - Heathcote
A co-fermented blend of vermentino (mostly), fiano and a smidgen of moscato gallo. All natural yeast.
Fundamentally textural white wine. Perfumed and pretty in general, though crisp, but its key appeal is the way it feels as it rolls through the mouth. Stone fruits and spice. Almost into apricot. But dry. Not hard to enjoy, that’s for certain. Rating 90 - Drink by 2016, Campbell Mattinson, winefront.com.au (DEC/2015).
Crisp and lively, without any single flavour dominant, other perhaps than citrus zest/crushed leaf. Rating 88 - Drink by 2016, James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (FEB/2015).
Winery Tasting Notes
