The 2014 Cliff Edge Cabernet Sauvignon showcases distinct Grampians regional character with classic varietal charm reflective of Langi’s cool climate. Sourced from Cabernet vines up to 50 years of age. The 2014 vintage provided good conditions for grape growing, with a dry and reasonably warm season. Due to a cold snap in spring the crops were low yielding resulting in high quality fruit with intense flavours and complexity.

A rare sighting of Langi’s Cliff Edge Cabernet Sauvignon.
It’s light. Medium-bodied at a pinch. It smells berried and herbal and tastes it too, with good momentum through the palate before a slightly bitter finish. When I say bitter, I don’t mean that in an off-putting or even negative way. It’s an elegant wine, non-sweet, good but in a non-essential way. Winery Tasting Notes
Crimson with purple hues.
Intense cherry and black currant fruits with notes of spiced plum are matched with spices of dried herbs and lavender.
Luscious black currant and cherry fruits transcend on the palate, with hints of cedar and peppercorn spice. Enriched with seductive dark chocolate tannins and a fine backbone of acidity providing length.
