Each parcel of the 2011 Shiraz was vinified and matured separately. Fermentation, maceration and aeration were employed to ensure the gentlest extraction of colour, tannins and the truest expression of fruit. Following 16 months maturation in a combination of new and seasoned French oak barriques, each batch underwent a rigorous appraisal process to identify the best barrels for inclusion in the final blend.

Deep crimson-purple hue; the bouquet offers vibrant black fruits, briary complexity and a healthy dollop of spicy oak aromas; medium-bodied and savoury in style with the dark fruit and chewy, medium-grained tannins coming to the fore on the moderately long conclusion. Rating 90 - Drink by 2018 Ben Edwards, Wine Companion (MAR/2013)

Rich fruitcake, blackberry and savoury olive flavours are held in balance on the medium weight palate. A blanket of fine and focussed tannins support the long,
