Mitchelton Marsanne is sourced from mature sections across several blocks within the Mitchelton vineyard. Each parcel is meticulously monitored and harvested at optimum ripeness, with gentle pressing employed to separate the pristine free run juice.

Mitchelton has moved with the times, barrel-fermenting some batches, the remainder in stainless steel; this approach has certainly built texture and flavour, but leaving the basic character of marsanne in clear air. Rating 90 - Drink by 2015, James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (FEB/2014)
Mitchelton now under new ownership, I believe. Milk bottles, mint, lemon curd and florals, Light, racy, kind of neutral, but with a little honey gloss and flint. Good to drink. Nice dry white. Rating 90 - Drink - 2016+, Gary Walsh, Wine Front (MAY/2014)
