Gentle handling and careful treatment has allowed the fruit expression to come through. This vintage was all about elegance and poise, making it wonderful now but also for years to come.
- VIC - Yarra Valley
Very light, although bright, crimson; typical of the pretty, perfumed pinots of '11, with small red fruits at their core; the wine spent 12 months in largely used French oak, which provides some textural background. Rating 89 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (OCT/2012)
Winery Tasting Notes
Bright, red cherry
Lifted perfume of violets and lavender. All spice intertwined with gamey, briary red and black cherry fruits. Complimented with subtle vanillin oak.
Soft and juicy. Lovely mix of elegant fruit savoury spice and earthy undertones. Supple tannins and velvet like finish.
