Brut non-vintage is always the expression of the House style and, as such, it is the signature champagne. Laurent-Perrier Brut’s style is defined by its very high proportion of Chardonnay which provides a natural purity, freshness and elegance. These essential characteristics, expressed in all our champagnes, are a good introduction to the spirit of Laurent-Perrier.
Chardonnay’s representation has been notched up by five percent and the dosage lowered by one gram, making for a refreshing aperitif style. A core of lemon zest, lemon blossom and white summer fruits is layered with complexity built over four years on lees: nuances of toast, butter and nuts. A fine bead and attractive, soft minerality flow into a finish with an impression of lemon sherbet from the sweetness of the dosage, offset by a cut of acidity. Rating 92 - Tyson Stelzer, The Champagne Wine Guide 2012 -2013

Chardonnay: 50% – which is a particularly high proportion, double the average in Champagne – Pinot Noir: 35 %, Pinot Meunier: 15 %.

Delicate yet complex, fresh and well-balanced with hints of citrus and white fruits.

Serving
Serve between 8°C and 10°C. The combination of freshness and purity of the Laurent-Perrier Brut has been a major factor in the success of champagne as an aperitif. Its citrus and white fruit notes – such as vine peach – and its remarkable balance supported by subtle bubbles make it the perfect companion for the finer moments in life. A true vin de plaisir.
Founded in 1812, Laurent-Perrier is recognised as one of the finest family owned Champagne Houses, renowned for its innovation and passion. The Nonancourt family’s independent spirit is the driving force behind the ‘New World style’ of winemaking, creating a diverse, unique and highly sought-after range of Champagnes.
Combined with a clear determination to observe established French traditions – respect for terroir, dedication to quality, strong and lasting relationships – such a vision will carry the success of this House into the future.
