Finely focussed, the palate opens to a soft and supple middle and is underpinned by a taught and fresh finish. Layers of lemon, lime, guava, fig, quince and green apple feature throughout with delicate floral and savoury notes laced between. Overall a youthful and vibrant blend.

“91 points. Long, fine and shapely, this restrained, mineral white blend has a lightly grassy bouquet of melon, gooseberries and a hint of white peach with a delicate floral perfume. It’s medium in weight, with a lean, finely sculptured palate that finishes with tangy, lemony acids and a fine chalkiness.” Rating 91 - Jeremy Oliver, The Australian Wine Annual 2013
“Fresh and open-textured, with juicy lime, pear and mint flavors. Lingers easily. Drink now. "89 Points - Wine Spectator, May 2012
“This pale yellow colored wine opens with a fragrant and inviting grapefruit with a hint of apple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is a mild grapefruit with notes of lemon and light minerality throughout. The finish is dry and refreshing. This wine would pair well with grilled swordfish with a lemon drizzle. "Semillon adds body to this zesty white's crisp citrus and herb character."Food & Wine Magazine, 2013 Edition, Annual Wine Guide
“This wine just bounces along with its bowl of tropical fruit laced with lemony semillon providing a most enjoyable drink. Its fresh and zippy and the extra year in bottle gives some added depth without compromising its youthful zip.”Ray Jordan, The West Australian Wine Guide 2013
Winery Tasting Notes
The colour is fresh vibrant pale straw with lime green edges.
The wine is displaying an intense lifted fruit profile of cantaloupe, wild gooseberries, lemon, and lime with underlying notes of complex nettle, clove and star anise.
These multifaceted characteristics from the bouquet follow onto the palate with orange zest and lime pith, these complimentary fruit flavours come across with great intensity with a lovely textured mouth feel and an excellent line of acid that pulls the palate along to a refreshing finish.
