Overview

The Devil’s Whiskers are the two little marks that appear around the top lips of some people when they drink red wine – even just one glass.

Nothing evil about that wine though, apart from the fact that you'll definitely want to go for another glass!

Winery Tasting Notes

Aroma

On the nose dark rich berries and slightly smoky notes intermingle with cassis and hints of dark chocolate and warm spice.

Palate

Immediately on the palate there is dense berry fruit together with satsuma plums and nuances of strawberries. The very structural fruit tannins and the oak tannins from French Barriques carry this fruit to a long finish.

Winery Profile

Brand Profile Image

Kangarilla Road winery is a partnership between Kevin and Helen O’Brien. While the wines show the generosity of the McLaren Vale region, they also have a unique Kangarilla Road style, the white wines fragrant and aromatic and the reds an elegant expression of their variety. The Kangarilla Road philosophy remains unchanged: “To produce wines that we enjoy drinking – wines that can be enjoyed with or without food and especially with friends.”
