Expert Reviews

Vivid, clear crimson; it is fresh and vibrant, but was picked a few days too early, for there's an edge to the red berry fruits that the wine would be better without. Rating 89 - Drink by 2025 James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (19/FEB/2015)

Winery Tasting Notes

Tempranillo is proving to be one of the more successful alternative varietals. Originally from Spain, this is the grape of the legendary Rioja wines, and it is rapidly finding a following in Australia, particularly in the Adelaide Hills where it thrives in the cool conditions.
