Juniper Estate was planted by Henry and Maureen Wright in 1973 on Harmans Road South (now known as Tom Cullity Drive), in its picturesque setting along the Wilyabrup Creek. The vineyard grows on the ancient laterite gravelly loam soils that lie over a clay base. Typically the soil of the Wilyabrup region is deep and well drained, and has produced so many of the Margaret River wines which now command Australia-wide and international recognition.

From estate declassified barrels and some younger vine material; includes 8% malbec and 2% petit verdot; matured for 15 months in French oak (25% new). There's no escaping the hedonism of this wine; it fill the mouth with a cornucopia of red and black fruits, spices, ripe tannins and quality oak all in perfect balance, the next glass coming soon. Rating 95 - Drink by 2025, James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (FEB/2015).
A fragrant medium-bodied elegance elevates Juniper Crossing to a special place in 2012. It’s a pretty, classic Margaret River style with French oak well controlled, permitting the fruit to speak articulately. Rating 94 - Tyson Stelzer, Wine Business Magazine (OCT/2014).
