The wine is smooth and plush with a good depth of fleshy fruits and modest oak influence. The long fine tannins are balanced and create great length and structure.

Bright crimson-purple; this fresh, light- to medium-bodied wine finished its fermentation in French oak, a technique that invariably enhances the integration of the oak and lifts the aroma of the red berry fruits.Rating 90 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2012
"A wine with everything and everything in just the right place. It's a medium-bodied easy drinking number with good fruit concentration focused by a fine mix of oak and tannin. Lovely red berry and light minty plum pudding richness which remains balanced to a long finish." Rating 91 Cellar: 4 years - Ray Jordan, Ray Jordan's WA Wine Guide 2011 also in Fresh, The West Australian 18 November 2010
