Armand de Brignac is a Prestige Cuvée produced in the traditional, old world style, from grape to glass. Armand de Brignac Brut Gold is our flagship Cuvée, a singular example of French Champagne tradition.
Armand de Brignac Brut Gold is extremely dense with a very stimulatingly tight bead. It's tense and refreshing with scents in the floral/vegetation spectrum followed by real precision on the palate. Jancis Robinson OBE & MW (08/OCT/2009)
Ranked Number 1 96 Points - The 100 Best Champagnes for 2010 Chamagne Magazine 2010
Refinement and exclusively are hallmarks not only of Armand de Brignac's content, but also the package… the luxuriosness made me afraid I’d subconsicoulsy find the Chamagne amazing simply because of its bottle. Nevertheless, the exraordinary refinement and distinction of the wine were a surprise and justified my expectation of its quality. The colour is a shimmering yellow tone, and the aroma muted but extraordinarily fine, with timelss subtlety. On the palate, the mouth is overwhelmed by a series of shades of low intensity but which are clearly detectable, brought together in a perfect symphony... the bubbles are almost microscopic, but are abundant and seductive... a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. Rating 98 Jose Peñin, Sibaritas(Feb/2009)
Aroma
Bouquet is complex and full-bodied, fresh and lively with light floral notes.
Palate
On the palate, Armand de Brignac has a sumptuous, racy fruit character that is perfectly integrated with the wine's subtle brioche accents. The Champagne's texture is deliciously creamy, with great depth paired with a long, silky finish.
Grape Varietals
Our Bryt Gold is pressed from a perfectly balanced blend containing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier wine. The grapes are selected exclusively from Le Marne region; wine is top fraction of first pressing on our traditional Champenois Coquart press for a slow, high quality yield.
Maturation
The bottles are aged in a special section of the cellars, 119 steps (30 meters) underground, considered among Champagne’s deepest. Remuage (riddling) done by hand in traditional wooden racks; bottles are turned slightly by hand each day for a full month.
