Overview

Established in 1987, Rivendell Estate is an enchanting haven nestled amongst the lush, green rolling landscape of the northern Yallingup sub- region of Margaret River. The outstanding terroir is home to two 30- year- old, low yielding super- premium vineyards, bordered by acres of glorious manicured lawns and gardens.

Colour

A gorgeous pale straw colour.

Aroma

Aromas of fresh- cut tropical fruits, citrus and grassy herbaceous notes.

Palate

Tropical fruit flavours of guava and melon are lifted with citrus and red apple creating a fresh fruit salad bowl of flavour, with a lovely fruit weight and texture. This is an early drinking, soft tropical fruit style with great intensity of fruit flavours, balanced by fresh acidity and a hint of sweetness.

Partner with mildly spiced Asian dishes or fresh seafood.

Grays Tasting Panel Review

Not a variety you see much of in Australia with its spiritual home being France’s Loire Valley. Highly aromatic with lifted notes of passionfruit and guava. A nicely balanced, soft wine offering a variety of fruit salad flavours. My wife commented that it would be nice unwind after work with a glass while preparing dinner. 90 points. Howling Wolves wines are made exclusively amongst the vineyards and glorious, soft rolling hills of Willyabrup, Cowaramup, in the premium Western Australian wine region of Margaret River some 300 kilometres south of the capital, Perth.
