“The 2010 is one of the best reds I can recall under this label. It has impressive power and structure and looks set to age beautifully for many years. The colour is youthful purple-red, the aromas are dark and red fruits overlain by a gentle patina of eucalyptus-mint, and, as so often in Australian reds, the mint seems to add verve and freshness to the flavour. This is a big, powerful Shiraz of great intensity and length. Best drinking is expected from 2015 to 2035.” Huon Hooke, Gourmet Traveller Wine April/May 2013 edition
“Deep magenta; the bouquet is a fragrant, perfumed and spiced array of red and black fruits, offset by a touch of lavender and violets; the palate is soft and fleshy, silky and refined, with lacy acidity making way to some fairly serious tannins and charry oak, characters that will see a long and fruitful existence ahead.” Rating 94 - James Halliday, James Halliday's Australian Wine Companion 2013 Edition
