This Petit Verdot is another stunning varietal interpretation from this 5 star James Halliday rated winery. This is an intense, inky black wine with rich fruit flavours, big creamy oak and lovely balanced tannins.

Winery Tasting Notes

Black/ purple and black hues.

Black currant, plums, cinnamon, raspberry conserve, Chinese 5 spices, dark olives and savoury oak

Sweet jubes, plums and creamy oak make up an enormous mouth filling front palate. The wine exhibits masculine texture, weight and power that seem to consume your entire mouth. The intriguing part of this wine is that the tannin begins to build on the front palate and finishes at the back an astounding 45 seconds after spitting or swallowing the wine. This is our 4th vintage of this wine and we are delighted that our perseverance in both the vineyard and winery has paid off!
