Aroma/Palate

A totally handmade wine utilising traditional winemaking techniques of small batch fermentation and small French oak maturation. This wine exhibits savoury berry fruit and warm spicy oak wrapped in a smoothly textured tannin structure.

A wine ready to be enjoyed now but will gain even greater complexity in the bottle over the next five years.

Granite Hills is one of Australia's highest and most picturesque vineyards – perched atop the spectacular boulder strewn hills of the Great Dividing Range at 550 meters altitude, one hour (85 kms) North/Northwest of Melbourne.

Granite Hills lies at the northern extremity of the Macedon Ranges wine region on Burke & Wills Track – the route taken by those famous explorers on their fateful journey north to the Gulf.
