The 2008 Vintage was sent to test us. This vintage will be remembered for the incredible heat wave that affected South Australia and the challenges associated with it. Early indications pointed towards it being one of the greatest vintages we had seen in McLaren Vale. Good vineyard management meant we were able to process healthy fruit and we now have some excellent wines in our cellar.
This Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in American & French oak casks for 22 months, displays black olive, menthol, some plum and hints of violets with velvety tannins and fresh acidity.
