We taste every barrel 1 year after vintage to select the best wines for further oak maturation as our Reserve blend. The wines are carefully chosen for their intensity and complexity of fruit, mouth feel and the quality of tannins, oak integration, and their overall balance and harmony. This wine represents the best Shiraz in our cellar. Healthy colour; a strict barrel selection after 12 months is returned to barrel for another 10 months, so it is inevitable that both the texture and flavour of the wine is oak-influenced. That said, the fruit flavours have distinct elegance, and carry through to the finish of a wine with a very individual message.

Winery Tasting Notes
Very deep rich red colour
The wine displays a aromas of soy, coffee and leather with fresh blueberry, some licorice and pepper coming through with time in the glass.
Well integrated tannins with textured mouth feel offer layers of flavour with wonderful length which will continue to evolve with medium to long term cellaring.
