Cool to warm fermentation was used to retain as much fresh fruit character as possible. Careful oak selection was incorporated to ensure oak and fruit combine harmoniously. The aim is to provide a fresh, soft drinking red which is enjoyable while young.
Mild and cool conditions prevailed in 2011 leading to wines with medium bodied structure, sweet fruit and soft tannins.
