A generous blend of two great varieties, this elegant and softer style is given structure and sweet fruit character by the Cabernet supported by the fleshy, plummy mid palate strength of Merlot. Well balanced and medium bodied, this Cabernet Merlot is enhanced by fine dusty tannins and well integrated cedary oak for a full firm finish of admirable length.

Winery Tasting Notes
Deep Crimson with a purple hue.
Lifted aromas of complex dark berries with underlying savoury earthy notes.
Medium bodied, a generous mouth feel with well balanced acidity and fine, dusty tannins. Flavours of red and dark fruits lead to a lengthy savoury finish.
The wine is certainly approachable now; though will age well over the next 3 - 5 years. The tannins will soften and integrate with age, adding mid palate richness.
Sumac and clove dusted lamb loin, braised forest mushroom tart.
The lifted textures and aromas of spice and toasted oak in the Cabernet Merlot pronounces and accentuates the earthy,
savoury undertones of the moist, fleshy lamb dish.
