The 2011 vintage was fantastic for Margaret River Chardonnay. We’ve had a really good run with this variety over the past 3 seasons. Chardonnay just keeps producing fantastic wines and winemakers are united in singing its praise. Chardonnay must now be regarded as Margaret Rivers’ most consistent white variety. Chardonnay has the advantage of being early ripening, therefore often missing the hot conditions Margaret River can experience in late February and early March.
The 2011 Chardonnay has a wonderful combination of fruit flavours and structure associated with the cooler southern Margaret River Chardonnays.
