Expert Reviews

Bright straw-green; fermented in mainly older French oak barrels, a well-judged move that has allowed the white fleshed stone fruits, citrus and a hint of cashew free play. Delicious now, but will hold. Rating 93 - Drink by 2016 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (JAN/2013)

Winery Tasting Notes

Aroma/Palate

Fire Gully Chardonnay has good intensity of stone fruit and grapefruit flavours and is tight, lean and minerally. There's finesse, integration of delicate cedary oak and fresh, pristine cool fruit characters, good depth and a long, lingering, dry finish.
