Barossa Garnacha - A charismatic and flavourful red – charge your glasses!
Same Matador, different colour. A flavourful wine, this Garnacha (aka Grenache) is a charismatic red with a dramatic mouthfeel. Notes of strawberries and cherries come charging in on a palate of spicy raspberry attack. Grab it by the horns!

Vivid style, bursting with blackberry and black cherry flavors, playing against tobacco and wet earth notes, finishing under a veil of fine tannins. Best from 2014 through 2018. Rating 90 - Harvey Steiman, Wine Spectator (JUL/2013)
A fresh young style. Raspberry, brown spices, florals and some modest earthy bass notes. At present it might best be summarised as ‘a simple medium bodied wine with big appeal’. Light raspy tannin, balanced acidity, good flavour and pretty long finish featuring some attractive grainy tannin, and while it drinks really well now, I’d suggest it has a little more to give. Recommended. Rating 90+, 2013 - 2018+ Gary Walsh, The Wine Front (APR/2013)
Glass-staining ruby. An exotic bouquet displays candied red fruits, allspice and licorice, with a sexy floral overtone. Pliant and sweet in the mouth, offering plump raspberry and cherry flavors and a hint of white pepper. Smoke and bitter chocolate nuances come up on the finish, which features dusty tannins and lingering spiciness. Rating 90 - Josh Raynolds, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (JUL/2013)
