Dry and refreshing - one bottle just isn’t enough!
Touriga Nacional is a Portuguese variety. However, this is a Spanish inspired rose - dry, refreshing and brimming with red fruit flavours – raspbs and strawbs. It’s screaming out for seafood and all things spicy. On a hot summer’s day, it’s as reviving as ice cold water. One bottle just isn’t enough!

Watermelon, green strawberry – a little bitter and herbal, but in an interesting and good way. Has a creamy roundness and a touch of phenolic. Impulse to swallow it is pretty high. Like it. Less run of the mill than many and has a ripe and creamy sweet red fruit finish. Some sweetness, but well delivered. Rating 90 - Gary Walsh, The Wine Front (NOV/2011)
This unusual variety comes from Spain and Portugal. I think it's the first one of these I have tasted. Beautiful example of Rosé with its dry, red berry flavorus and dry, crisp finish. Very much in the Southern French style, and bloody good. Perfect with rabbit rillettes or terrine, French country bread and green salad. Antipastis – prosciutto, olives, Sicilian anchovies; all things spicy – Thai, Indian – you name it!
