“ In the village of Bue you should pay a visit to Francois Crochet, one of the most promising Sancerre winemakers” Emmanuel Tresmontant, Michelin Gourmet.

Winery Tasting Notes

Crochet’s Sancerre, from the almost wholly limestone slopes of the commune of Bue near Sancerre, are as authentic as they are modern and vivacious.

These are cool, crisp and tightly structured whites which show gorgeous fruits of gooseberry, blackcurrant and grapefruit. Through all this generosity the site shines through.

Chalky and flowery aromas and the mineral and chalky palate elements support the wines structure and fresh, zippy finish.Provided perfect and balanced fruit for the wines to show this freshness with the signature structure.
