Expert Reviews

Strong lift of minty blackcurrant cabernet on the nose, with some underlying meatiness. The palate is stylish and refined with silky tannins and generous dense stylish fruit. Palate is controlled and focused to its long finish. Excellent structure and poise'

Elegant wines of intense colour and flavour are consistently produced through an attentive and hands-on approach in the vineyard, coupled with experience and attention to detail in the winery. Edwards is also experimenting with organic practices in the vineyard.

On March 2nd 1990, amateur pilot Brian Edwards took off from Binbrook airfield in England , flying his 1943 Tiger Moth ‘Matilda’, bound for Australia . His mission, to fly the route of the great Australian aviation pioneers and to raise money for Legacy.

The successful completion of the 6 week epic flight ended with Brian landing at Langley Park in Perth on May 13th 1990. The two wines from Tigers Tale are in recognition of Brian Edwards, who made his dream a reality.
