Expert Reviews

"Highly Recommended - This is an excellent example of Margaret River cabernet with exemplary varietal definition in both aroma and palate. The nose is vibrant and concentrated leading to a long palate with very good depth of fruit and well integrated oak. A keeper which will reward cellaring for at least another five years."Gold Medal - (2010 Small Vigneron Awards)

Their 25 hectare vineyard is located in the heart of the Margaret River Wine region and consists of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz , Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Elegant wines of intense colour and flavour are consistently produced through an attentive and hands-on approach in the vineyard, coupled with experience and attention to detail in the winery. Edwards is also experimenting with organic practices in the vineyard.

On March 2nd 1990, amateur pilot Brian Edwards took off from Binbrook airfield in England , flying his 1943 Tiger Moth ‘Matilda’, bound for Australia . His mission, to fly the route of the great Australian aviation pioneers and to raise money for Legacy.

The successful completion of the 6 week epic flight ended with Brian landing at Langley Park in Perth on May 13th 1990. The two wines from Tigers Tale are in recognition of Brian Edwards, who made his dream a reality.
