This wine clearly illustrates Olivier’s desire to make wines which are elegant with lower alcohol, easier to drink yet still showing character and personality. Riesling is certainly the best grape for this type of wine, the source of which is mostly from the Herrenweg vineyard, blended with some fruit from some of the Domaine Zind-Humbrecht famous hillside vineyards such as Brand (younger vines of 10-15 years old).

Winery Tasting Notes
Very pale straw with green reflections.
The nose is already classic Riesling in a very aromatic, fruity style.
The palate is showing an enticing fresh sapid acidity and medium round finish. The sweetness evident but not overwhelming and overall it is an excellent food wine.
A great food wine just crying out for delicate fish dishes, salad courses, smoked salmon and quiche or frittata.
Best consumed from 2012 through to 2016
