This is Olivier’s classic Pinot d’Alsace blend of Auxerrois and Pinot Blanc originating from the Herrenweg and Rotenberg vineyards, in equal proportion of red calcareous and gravely soils, with the Rotenberg bringing acidity and Herrenweg fruit flavour. Alsace law permits this wine to be labelled either Pinot d’Alsace or Pinot Blanc.

Winery Tasting Notes
Quite an amazing bright yellow straw colour.
A classic light fruity nose with some nutty/yeasty characteristics.
Olivier’s goal was to harvest the grapes early at an elegant level of ripeness to ensure the wine would ferment quickly and dry. The palate is therefore dry in an elegant, delicate style with good length and excellent drinkability.
A great food wine to enjoy with informal meals, chicken, shellfish and white fish dishes and summer salads.
Best consumed from 2012 through to 2016
