Overview

We are estate winegrowers who exclusively harvest and produce our own wines. We do not buy any grapes nor juice or wine.

A family vineyard established since 1810, nowadays, we are two generations working side by side for a better handover; Alain Beydon-Schlumberger, 6th generation, Séverine and Thomas Schlumberger, 7th generation.

Golden yellow with hints of green.

Aroma

This Pinot Gris offers a bouquet of ripe fruit and fruit compote, full in harmony with notes of apricot and nectars.

Palate

On the palate, the wine is soft, blended and fleshy with a very slight roundness. The finish is vinous and fresh, well-balanced and pure.

Cellaring Potential

This wine will mature well over the next four to five years.

Domaines Schlumber is located in Guebwiller in Alsace and has been family owned since 1810. It is the largest Grand Cru vineyard holder in the Alsace region with 68 ha of vines of classic Alsace varieties of Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer in the Grand Cru of Saering, Kitterle, Kessler and Spiegel representing more than half the total Domaine plantings.
