The 2010 Doc Adams GSM consisting of Grenache Shiraz and Mourvedre is a typical Rhone Valley blend that McLaren Vale is suited to. The colour is brilliant and crimson like while displaying what the 2010 vintage was all about – Great colour. The aromas are spicy with hints of forest berries while showing a velvety appearance across the palate. Liquorice is dominant and whilst we are very proud of its Gold Medal status at the CARTeSIAN 2012 McLaren Vale wine show, we equally believe the wine will mature superbly over the next 7 years due to its fantastic balance. Expert Reviews

'The Hogarth painting of binge drinking revelry by men old enough to know better is a bold label ploy in these nanny State days. The wine fully deserved its gold medal at the McLaren Vale Wine Show '12, rippling with red fruits, dark chocolate and supple tannins, its balance and structure excellent. Drink by 2025.' Rating 94 - James Halliday - Review published on 10 Jul 2013

Winery Tasting Notes

The 2010 McLaren Vale GSM colour is deep red crimson with a slight dark purple haze.

Its aroma is complex and appears spicy and fruitlike. Upon the palate it transposes to richness and intensity.

Like the aroma it shows fruit sweetness and is complex. It shows hints of complex oak throughout the palate which can be caramel like.

Over next 7 years.
