As usual, this blend contains a greater volume of Sauvignon Blanc than Semillon, which reflects the outstanding qualities of the fruit produced by the former variety on the Cullen Vineyard, while recognising that it can still be enhanced by the complimentary characteristics of the latter variety. The fruit was picked at optimal ripeness, which was represented by Baume’s of only 9.6° – 11.9°, resulting in the highly desirable production of an alcohol concentration of only 10.9%. Complexity and completeness have been enhanced through maturing a substantial component of the wine in new oak.

Winery Tasting Notes
Delightful combination of fresh cut grass, water cress, savoury and vanillin oak aromas.
Deep, rich and vibrant fruit and mineral flavours. Very complex, integrated and long and supplied with a great acid drive. A great example of this wine style.
