Winery Tasting Notes
The 2010 Mangan represents a blend of approximately equal amounts of Malbec (38%), Petit Verdot (32%) and Merlot (30%). The first two varieties provide the middle palate with richness and depth, while the third adds lovel aromatics and good acidity, which contribute to the excellent structure of this wine.
Bright red with strong purple tinges.
A delightful blend of rose petal, violets and plum aromas.
Delicious fresh plum fruit flavours are perfectly integrated with the excellent tannins. Beautifully balanced and of good length.
Already drinking very well but continue to develop well for up to 10 years under good cellaring conditions.
Mild beef or lamb dishes and strongly-flavoured chicken dishes.
