The Redstone Shiraz is produced from Coriole's own estate vineyards and other selected sites in the McLaren Vale Region. The name comes from the distinctively coloured ironstone so common in the vineyards and buildings at Coriole.

Deep, dense purple-red; part estate, part contract-grown; archetypal full-bodied McLaren Vale shiraz, full of black fruits, dark chocolate and substantial, although ripe, tannins. Must be given time and space. Rating 90 - Drink by 2030 - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion (AUG/2012)
"Blueberry pie, blackberry and raspberry, earth, a bit of char and spice. It’s full bodied, but not overblown, with firm furry tannin that offers a pleasingly serious adult grip and texture. It’s not the deepest or most complex of wines, but has length and authentic character. Some dried herb on the finish. Reckon it needs a year or two more in bottle then it’s chocs away. Winery Tasting Notes
The nose displays plum, blueberry, black fruits and earth.
The palate is rich and generous with red fruits, dried herb and spice. A balanced, soft, full bodied wine with structure, fine tannin and good length.
Redstone is a drink now style, but you could confidently cellar this wine for several years.
