The grapes were harvested and taken directly to the winery for pressing. Individual batches were fermented separately in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures with a variety of yeast strains to enhance the fresh fruit aromas. A small portion was fermented in older barriques to give added texture and some intriguing funky characters. The young wines spent the winter on light lees to further enrich the palate weight and texture.

Winery Tasting Notes
The result is a crisp, racy wine with lemon, lime, grapefruit and passionfruit notes complemented with flint and subtle lees characters.
The palate is juicy and textural, with lingering fresh fruit on the finish.
This is an ideal match for New Zealand whitebait and egg white fritters served with watercress and grapefruit salad and chilli lime dressing.
